PennState Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a nursing job in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of the Life Lion Critical Care Transport Services and Aviation staff. Ensure compliance, competence, and expert delivery of all aspects of the services. Responsible for developing and monitoring operational and capital budgets of the Life Lion Critical Care Transport services including possible service growth opportunities. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, the PA Department of Health, Federal Aviation Authority. Responsible for the oversight of clinical care provided by the transport team, ensuring that CAMTS standards of care and practice are met or exceeded.  Provides oversight  of Quality Assurance activities in collaboration with the Medical Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Three (3) years management experience required.
  • BLS and ACLS required.
  • One or more of the following credentials is required: PHRN, CFRN, CCRN, CEN, PALS, or NRP.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in critical care transport, including both air and ground transport preferred.
  • Business training preferred.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse and/or Paramedic with Critical Care experience in the state of Pennsylvania preferred.
